2025-11-06media: iris: enable support for SC7280 platformDmitry Baryshkov
As a part of migrating code from the old Venus driver to the new Iris one, add support for the SC7280 platform. It is very similar to SM8250, but it (currently) uses no reset controls (there is an optional GCC-generated reset, it will be added later) and no AON registers region. Extend the VPU ops to support optional clocks and skip the AON shutdown for this platform. Current devices use same power up sequence, but starting with Qualcomm SM8750 (VPU v3.5) the sequence will grow quite a bit, so allow customizing it. No functional change so far for existing devices. 2025-09-09media: iris: Call correct power off callback in cleanup pathKrzysztof Kozlowski
Driver implements different callbacks for the power off controller (.power_off_controller): - iris_vpu_power_off_controller, - iris_vpu33_power_off_controller, The generic wrapper for handling power off - iris_vpu_power_off() - calls them via 'iris_platform_data->vpu_ops', so shall the cleanup code in iris_vpu_power_on(). This makes also sense if looking at caller of iris_vpu_power_on(), which unwinds also with the wrapper calling respective platfortm code (unwinds with iris_vpu_power_off()). Otherwise power off sequence on the newer VPU3.3 in error path is not complete. 2025-05-02media: platform: qcom/iris: add power_off_controller to vpu_opsNeil Armstrong
In order to support the SM8650 iris33 hardware, we need to provide a specific constoller power off sequences via the vpu_ops callbacks. Add the callback, and use the current helper for currently supported platforms. 2025-02-07media: iris: introduce host firmware interface with necessary hooksDikshita Agarwal
The Host firmware interface (HFI) is a well defined set of interfaces for the communication between the host driver and the firmware. The commands and responses are exchanged in form of packets. One or multiple packets are grouped under the packet header. Each packet has a packet type which describes the specific HFI and the payload, which holds the corresponding value for that HFI.
