2025-11-06lan966x: Fix sleeping in atomic contextHoratiu Vultur
The following warning was seen when we try to connect using ssh to the device. 2024-09-06net: lan966x: Remove setting of RX software timestampGal Pressman
The responsibility for reporting of RX software timestamp has moved to the core layer (see __ethtool_get_ts_info()), remove usage from the device drivers. 2024-07-15net: Add struct kernel_ethtool_ts_infoKory Maincent
In prevision to add new UAPI for hwtstamp we will be limited to the struct ethtool_ts_info that is currently passed in fixed binary format through the ETHTOOL_GET_TS_INFO ethtool ioctl. It would be good if new kernel code already started operating on an extensible kernel variant of that structure, similar in concept to struct kernel_hwtstamp_config vs struct hwtstamp_config. Since struct ethtool_ts_info is in include/uapi/linux/ethtool.h, here we introduce the kernel-only structure in include/linux/ethtool.h. The manual copy is then made in the function called by ETHTOOL_GET_TS_INFO. 2024-06-14eth: lan966x: don't clear unsupported statsJakub Kicinski
Commit 12c2d0a5b8e2 ("net: lan966x: add ethtool configuration and statistics") added support for various standard stats. We should not clear the stats which are not collected by the device. Core code uses a special initializer to detect when device does not report given stat. 2022-11-16net: lan966x: Fix potential null-ptr-deref in lan966x_stats_init()Shang XiaoJing
lan966x_stats_init() calls create_singlethread_workqueue() and not checked the ret value, which may return NULL. And a null-ptr-deref may happen: lan966x_stats_init() create_singlethread_workqueue() # failed, lan966x->stats_queue is NULL queue_delayed_work() queue_delayed_work_on() __queue_delayed_work() # warning here, but continue __queue_work() # access wq->flags, null-ptr-deref Check the ret value and return -ENOMEM if it is NULL. 2022-10-20net: lan966x: Fix the rx drop counterHoratiu Vultur
Currently the rx drop is calculated as the sum of multiple HW drop counters. The issue is that not all the HW drop counters were added for the rx drop counter. So if for example you have a police that drops frames, they were not see in the rx drop counter. Fix this by updating how the rx drop counter is calculated. It is required to add also RX_RED_PRIO_* HW counters.
